Near the end of an eighteen month trip in 1976  traveling the world Paul purchased his Sitar in Bannaries India (Varanasi) on the banks of the Ganges river before heading back to Australia.

With four decades of experience on innovative Sitar and eight original CDs and DVDs  self Composed , Produced and recorded as well as numerous collaborative CDs of contemporary music of many styles.  Paul has developed his own unique style and approach to Sitar,being self taught has enabled him to explore possibilities that may not normally be encountered .   Playing the Sitar with a Bow has transformed the Sitar into another instrument with a unique flavour. Paul also plays all his backing keyboard tracks.

With a broad taste in music Paul has collaborated with a large spectrum of musicians over the years, Kirtan music,reggay,pop, rock, electronic,jaz,middle eastern ect.

Paul skills at creating moods and emotions through music make for unique sound tracks for film,documentarys and dance of different styluses well as traditional Bollywood or Indian dance.
